That's what they are called. Yum Yums. Pastry a bit like a do nut but long with icing on them.

Not to be confused with yam yams. Anyone else miss @shep?
Anyway, I'm sure I've seen different flavours of yum yums, all disgustingly sweet, of course.

Been down to Barton-Le-Clay in sarf Bedfordshire to take Mini D for her covid booster.

What a lovely part or the world. Drive down through Westoning perched as it is on the edge of a glacial valley. Stunning views, somehow unspoiled by its proximity to Larndan.

Got home to find Mrs D has started packing for the move, so I packed away my basses, mandos and guitar. I'll stick to the steinberger until we've moved as that takes minimal space.

The air ambulance earlier was for 2 kids that got knocked down near one of the schools. It was just a matter of time as the road concerned now has 2 schools, Aldi, B & M and hundreds of new houses with more in the pipeline. The road was never designed for all that. Some of the driving around the town is shocking. Just a few days ago a young guy who had just passed his test went right into an old gentleman’s house. No wonder I have little desire to cycle now.

Been talking to the roofer this afternoon, we've got a problem with the flashing, price agreed, not as much as I thought, we've just got to sort out the date. Step son has been round to see us, no chance of us getting out to lunch but I've got three loads of washing done, out to Bingo tonight.

There's nothing worse than problems with your flashing, I've never had that of course

Pretty much the same round here Roads designed for horse and cart.A house up for sale was advertised as having expansive views over open countryside was sold.Five weeks after buying the property planning permission was granted for ninth houses That view has now disappeared under brlcks and mortar.

Over the last three years the village has expanded by three hundred properties plus several smaller developments No increase in school places.Doctors struggling Chemists finding it difficult to cope with demand for prescriptions Nothing is done to address these problems

One application which has recently been rejected included plans for a library which we already have .Rejection was due to the main entry and exit is opposite the school Application has gone to appeao
