Morning folks something has happened to Brora beach....all the sand has gone the recent storms have picked up a gazzilion tons of sand and removed it leaving the underlying rocks and stones. Because theres fossils to find i had a meander amongst the revealed strata and found what looks to be bone emerging from the grey rock. Will go back today and take some pics -could be a new dino!

Hope it's not human!

I have just downloaded the Advance Decision Pack - available from eg Compassion in Dying - linked to from the NHS website.

No way do I want to be kept alive under certain circumstances.

Legally binding document too - different rules in Scotland AFAIK.

I had a "do not resuscitate" on my dogtags, but a nurse told me they will not take any notice of it, we are here to save lives.

The long stretch of beach between Sandbanks and Southbourne is constantly losing sand. Every few years the Council pays for a dredger to sit in the channel and pump the sand back on the beaches. It's quite a sight as the large pipe comes ashore and along the beach, you can hear the constant clatter of stones hitting the inside of the pipe.
When the Council came up with the idea of building extra groynes along the beach to alleviate the erosion it resulted in the loss of a great deal of the beach at the end of Studland beach on the opposite side of the channel.

That's not a legally binding authorisation.

Complete the form, cc to GP (who distributes to local ambulance service and paramedics) and it is then legally binding on all healthcare practitioners in England (maybe Wales too?)

As an aside. The Lions Club also have a 'Message in a Bottle' scheme. You leave the doc' in a special bottle in your fridge and if paramedics visit you at home and you are alone (presumably they will have to break in) they will always check your fridge first. Never heard of this before.

Anyhow i reckon its bone but then im not a paleowatchamacallit

We bought some southern fried chicken from Aldi yesterday. I used to like Iceland ones, but we don't go there anymore, so Aldi it is.

I'm hoping they are on par with Iceland. We will try them today with a few fries maybe.

I just read a news item that claims Aldi 'so called' chicken is actually from stray cats.
