Morning folks. Woke up this with a stinking cold. ☹️ Which is not surprising considering mrs exlaser has had one for the last week.
Not much to do today , which is good as I am not feeling great . So my plan is , hair cut at 12 o’clock then a little shopping, book the car in for a service then home . To rest up with a lemsip 😂.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning folks :okay: Wet n windy here as expected. Had a bit of a brain wave tuther day  i intend to get a van in the not too distant future but cant really justify it as i might only use it once a week....so i reckon the local bird/animal rescue could make use of it picking up birds and the like. :okay: They do a great job, i walk past the rescue most days and often hear a recued owl hooting ^_^

Maybe you could volunteer one day a week?

Barnet,
Still in bed considering what the day may bring.
The smell of fresh coffee wafting through the house.

First day of another attempt to reduce my sugar intake.
But I know there's a pain au chocolat with my name on to go with the coffee.

Always tomorrow.
I'll have more greens today.

Eat the pain au chocolatè now. It'll keep winking at you until you do.

We have just had our gutters sucked

After the panels were fitted to the roof I took advantage of the scaffolding still being up and cleaned out our gutters at the back of the house. We are a mid terrace and had new double glazing/ guttering installed a few years ago. At the time it was recommended that I had " gutter protection " fitted. This was in the form of a plastic grille that clipped onto the top of the guttering and protects against the ingress of debris. As I stood on the scaffolding planks I noticed that the rest of the run of guttering along the terrace was comparatively debris free, whereas ours was almost full, the " protective grille" acting to trap clumps of moss and anchor it in place. I took it all out and binned it. I'm getting someone in to do the same to the front.

At last! A fellow late getter-upper!

Everyone else on here seems to get up super early. Thought I was alone.

Many years back, after a lifetime of getting up at silly-o-clock we decided that retirement was made for getting up later - and snuggles and tea in bed whenever we wanted was a just reward for the years of early morning misery we endured.

Good morning all.
A bit of a mixed weather day today. A bit of rain, a bit of rain, and breezy.
All the usual things to do today, dog walks, domestics, raking up the leaves in the garden.
I need a new pair of walking shoes, Millets have a sale on at the moment so I'll cycle up to my local shop and see if I can get a new pair.
GoOutdoors renamed all Millet branches as GoOutdoor Express Stores earlier this year.
