View attachment 714123 Someone put up a pic of a huge pothole on one of our roads last night where someone had put a traffic cone in to try and warn drivers. Looks like the council have effected a temporary repair, if you can call it that by putting what looks like small sandbags in it. No wonder I can't be bothered cycling around here any more. What a mess the roads are in.
I planted a small tree in one of the larger, in a series of holes, for when they sent an inspector out.
It got run over, and flattened, before they found it.

True - but if you go to the shop and they don;t have any then you are in the same boat I suppose

main problem I used to have in the past was short sell by dates so if you had ordered a few then some would inevitably expire before you could use them
Happened once with cucumbers - but I just rang Customer Services and they refunded them all with no fuss!

Around here they have a special warehouse, for home deliveries only, just down the road
so people say that things are far better than they used to be
When did you last see live sausages of beefburgers on the shelves?

There should be a health warning on those DNA testing kits.

Got one earlier this year, and one of the early matches was another person with the same name. They also have the same date of birth, day, month & year as myself.

Further checking got me an address with a Warrington postcode. A later "hint" given got me another person with the same name as me and the other person with the Warrington postcode. This other person lives down south. He married two women, same first name, different surnames, in the same area in the same month and year.

This other "me" is a direct match, according to those that compiled the records, to the "me" with the Warrington postcode. This "me" has been recorded as living at the same address with two different women over a nine year period.
That's four, possibly, different women linked to another "me".
I'm trying to find out if the Warrington postcode "me" has been married to either of those two women they've been living with.

I'm trying to get a record of one of the marriage's, but I'm having trouble due to the fact that two of the people share the same name as myself. I've been told I should know who I married. "I" might be married to four different women!

Is this sort of thing normal with these tests?

Good morning folk. Hope everyone is well today.
My 'will** writer' didn't arrive yesterday. A crossed line somewhere so she is coming at 1200 today. Shame as I was due to go for my regular midweek pint with my neighbour/friend.......Will put it back an hour or so.
**as I have said, things/life can change so much eg my son has divorced and remarried (his previous wife was named in the original will)........the house will now be owned by my daughter.
In a way this will (hopefully) simplify things.

Good morning all.
A bit of a mixed weather day today. A bit of rain, a bit of rain, and breezy.
All the usual things to do today, dog walks, domestics, raking up the leaves in the garden.
I need a new pair of walking shoes, Millets have a sale on at the moment so I'll cycle up to my local shop and see if I can get a new pair.

Good morning.
A few errands to run today. Collect bathroom stuff from Waitrose " click and collect " in Wimborne, have a good clean up in the kitchen as the work on the shower room conversion has left a fine layer of dust on hard to reach places ( I was both surprised and impressed when the two guys working on the job would routinely clear everything away at the end of each day, then have a scan around for any dust debris, sweep the floors and wipe down the kitchen worktops)
The Smart meter people are visiting tomorrow to install the new electric meter.

Morning folks :okay: Wet n windy here as expected. Had a bit of a brain wave tuther day  i intend to get a van in the not too distant future but cant really justify it as i might only use it once a week....so i reckon the local bird/animal rescue could make use of it picking up birds and the like. :okay: They do a great job, i walk past the rescue most days and often hear a recued owl hooting ^_^
