It was good fun, but a bit hectic compared to my regular pace of living.

Morning all . It’s nice to see some sunshine today after the weather we have been having . Am sat with mrs exlaser , drinking real coffee and waiting for the bread she has made to cool down for lunch 😀. All is well with the world today.
Not much planned for today other than going to Leamington for a walk . Mostly to check if the pedestrian entrance the the sailing club is clear .( The reservoir is located on the river leams flood plane ) . The club does have a road way in ( which rarely floods ) but our lease with Severn Trent means we have to keep its use to a minimum. So we need to know so we can direct all club members to this entrance if needed.

A lot of flooding hereabouts, Including Billing Asbo-drome about 2 miles away. Fortunately we're on a 60M hill - checked into the flood risk very carefully before buying - so when sea level rises we'll become an island and the value of my then seaside property will skyrocket!

Fixed a new light in the passageway between houses. This one has a PIR and is LED. I then caught caught the bus into Poole and returned a load of empty container of various types into Lush Cosmetics down the bottom of the High Street. Hot a couple of things and the charming girl behind the counter gave me a free bar of soap ( I had showered this morning ). When I got home Mrs TKK said our friend had popped round, she'd been to a local charity shop that sells furniture and picked up a bedside cabinet for £5. This will be repurposed as a home for a few of her Tortoises who have been resurfacing due to the soddenness of where they usually hibernate. They usually hibernate by digging into the ground inside the greenhouse but the water table must be really high.
