My private pension has gone up .
You may recall that a few years ago I was contacted by a pension company on behalf of of a MASSIVE multi national** to tell me I was owed a pension PLUS it was backdated. I assumed they had got the wrong person so ignored it.
They insisted and eventually I graciously accepted.
I still don't know what company it was that they owned and am not going to rock the boat by asking.
Not earth shattering but its now 40 quid per week.
**the multi national is very well known but for obvious reasons I won't name them.

I'm knackered! Gutter cleaner cried off as lots of gutters frozen. DPD delivered the new electric fire which required a bit of assembly. I then took all of the " coals " out of the coal effect gas fire and dismantled part of it. A good old hoover around and then the Veg boxes arrived ( are we expecting a conflict? Only Mrs Tkk seems to be stocking up on provisions). Then I got a text from her to say that she was due a delivery from DPD, but she couldn't remember what it was 🤣.

Afternoon folks [from the arctic] I was pleased to receive my nu shooz thru the post and even happier that theyre a good fit on my size 11's. May have too bash the clips a bit to make a truly snug fit but theyre close enough Will look forward to using them when weather permits....about April

Just saying being in a large group meeting has not brought any infections.Young kids old people and such.So i feel confident i can cope with infections.

I won't. I just won't tell him how much yarn I have and once it's all done, I can hide it better.

I have come to the conclusion that using the yarn winder is def a learning curve

Two and a half hours of total fun.Laughter and memories not been out with these guys in over six months,cycling wise four years and more.It started off with me introducing them to Victor the cafe owner.It went like this.Victor you may remember i said i would bring along two great cyclists.Well meet Dave and John,sadly the two great cyclists could not make it so these two have come instead,well that began more than two hours of fun and laughter.First ride planned van ride taking bikes to How Stean Gorge and a cafe visit,bring it on.

I have now decided that these things tend to work much better if you use them properly. Being left handed is certainly not an advantage in any way. First wind the correct way.

I had to look up " Yarn Winder " I remember as a child having to stand and hold a skein of wool over the backs of my hands/forearms while my mum rolled the wool into a ball.

Yes indeed. That was the torture that we all had to endure. Now we have a fancy plastic thing instead.

I'm sure Mr WD would be delighted to sit in a chair opposite you and hold the skeins of wool at exactly the correct tension😁

I doubt that. He had to go through that torture as well.
