Morning all

Supposed to have rain and high winds today.....all calm out there at the moment.
Sunday lunch booked at the Star Inn.

I think it will take more than a force 8 to keep you from your Sunday pub lunch .

A belated good morning to all. Had a good sleep but got up feeling "not well"....whole body is shaking.
A weird dream but (I did think) so vivid but can only recall the 2nd part.....call for Classic. I called at the Coop and bought a ready meal which consisted of one large prawn, some sauce and rice. The price was 42p and I clearly recall thinking WoW....for 2 people that would be 84p, that's a lot of money.
Might go back to bed now as I feel rough.

Salut tout le monde. Not that cold here but wet and very windy.
One of our daughters has gone to Blackpool on Friday until tomorrow so we have her two dogs as well as Molly here but they all get on very well thankfully. One of them is Molly's mother.
Still busy packing and we keep running out of boxes! It is amazing how much stuff you accumulate over the years.
I gave away one of my bikes yesterday (the very first one I bought off Amazon 13 years ago). I was only using it on the trainer. When the chap came to pick it up he said:"Are you sure you don't want paying for it?" I said:" You are welcome to give me something if you want." He never put his hand in his pocket though.
Can't wait till Friday when we move and start putting things away again.

It's a simple case of watching too many repeats on telly, especially Open All Hours. I'd have said a premonition, but the prices are a bit on the low side.
Was it a Vesta ready meal by any chance.

The weather has changed here now. We have that fine rain that looks more like mist or fog and it's getting gusty as well.

Great fun building a den with our granddaughter, everything has to be precisely so, lots of rearranging cushions and various soft toys.
We sang a few Nursery rhymes together and while looking at a YouTube video I found a link to the oldest known version of " Oranges and Lemons " Absolutely charming.

Leak not fixed 😰😰 had to rip out insulation and wall coverings, peeved is not the word! Too wet and wild to do anything other than move the electrics and put a bowl down. Wouldn't have minded so much but it happened directly above wall mounted TV and all the plugs for lighting etc 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I did run the new sail up the mast today at the club, to check all my control lines worked ok but chickened out actually going for a sail . Three boats were very brave and did venture out and two finished.
I was more than happy with my decision not to sail, am far to old to have a overinflated view of my own ability. 😂😀.

I love to watch windsurfers when it’s really windy. I’ve tried it a few times over the years, never really managed to get to grips with it .

As a general rule of thumb, good windsurfers are going out to play when good dinghy sailers are coming in because it’s too windy. 😀😀
