Its now reached the dizzying heights of 1 deg here, however the sun is shining so I am happy.

Mr WD has assembled my new shelving unit so I can put more good stuff on it

And we are probably having egg on toast today :hungry:

Cheese sarnies for us.

Funny you should say that. I just nipped to the Spar shop, realised part way there that I had left my phone at home and suddenly felt naked......crazy how we have come to rely on them🤨

Hardly ever carry mine unless I think I might want to take a photo, especially now I have a cellular Apple Watch. I can make a call on it if I have to plus it’s great for paying for things too.

I did take it on my walk earlier in case I saw anything nice but just took this.

Salut from my brother's house in France. It is snowing heavily and we are making our way back tomorrow to Calais where we will spend the night before catching the tunnel on Thursday. There is a general strike planned for Thursday but hopefully it won't affect Euro Tunnel.

Mrs Tenkaykev is preparing a chilli for tomorrow, and I was in the kitchen peeling spuds to make chips. She heated some oil up in a cast iron Le creuset style enamel pot, added onions and then some Berbere spice. Within a matter of seconds I was coughing uncontrollably and had to dash outside to breath in fresh air. She didn't notice any effect but it had a severe affect on me. I notice she had the gas on full pelt when she added the spices, just wondered if there was some sort of chemical reaction between the very hot oil and the spices. Any of the gang experienced anything similar, I'm still coughing and my chest is tight 🥲

I'm in the garden centre at Ullesthorpe, sadly I'm out and about in the car, our friend is is visiting so I left the ladies to have a gossip and took the opportunity to give the car a run out, I'm constantly doing short stop start trips so its good to give it a run out. It's a lovely cycling morning, a bit fresh and the lanes will need care but I'd rather be on the bike but don't have time.

Not visited Palmer at Ullesthorpe for quite a while.Go to Parmers at Enderby .Always have cheese and Cranberry Panini and bottle of Fiery Ginger Beer :hungry: :hungry: :hungry:

Great picture. It’s very picturesque round your area.
