If you come across mine whilst looking for yours can you send it home please.

I think I lost mine about 6 months ago and damned if I can find it either, especially where cycling is concerned. Thank goodness I at least enjoy my walking.

Decided on an early Aldi dash.....mainly for veg type stuff (and wine). Got beans, tender stem brocoli and baby boiled spuds.....so thats the weekend taken care of.

2 Things surprised me
1. How busy the roads were at 0750.
2. Lots of parked cars still iced over... thought that would have melted over night.

Scam alert mrs p just received a recorded message. You have made the following two bank transfers of £700 Please press the following number to confirm Ye right
Just thought I wonder if she has ordered new bike for me.

I was out for the Tesco run at eight and like you I was surprised at how busy it was, since then I've learnt that the M6 is closed by junction 3 which might explain the extra traffic. I've also got a gremlin in the cars central locking, go out to defrost the car and i have central locking, by the time I've finished the central locking has stopped working, a short trip down the road and its working again, I've had the battery checked and its alright so I'm a bit puzzled.

Barnet,
Good morning all fellow retirees.
After a lovely breakfast of fresh fruit and yogurt, I am now by the pool.
It is 20⁰c and set to be a lovely day.

Bit of a late one last night so just got out of bed - lazy sods!

Not much on today apart from going to collect a click & collect filter coffee machine from Argos. How exciting!

News:

-6C out there.

2 new baking trays have appeared from Amazon.

Mrs SD had her hair done yesterday and the price appears to have succumbed to inflationary pressures - up from £138 to £146.

Have a good day all.

Morning all from a bright and crisp Coventry.
Mrs exlaser is off work today so we walked to our favourite coffee shop for brunch .
She was going to go for a cycle this afternoon but her Mojo seems to have gone too. ( mine left about 18months ago 😂 )
I think somewhere there is a whole load of Mojo’s all laughing and joking about how they have escaped from their owners 😂😂😀

Back from shopping - had to do Tesco and farm shop

then nipped into Aldi as I was passing (OK should have done it first instead of Tesco) as I remembered the idea of Maris Piper oven chips

SWMBO is fussy so I thought they might be better for her

anyway - back and old light shade from the bedroom has been put on Freecycle as 'someone' decided the old one was not good enough and we 'needed' a new one
to be honest it is better - and uses lower voltage bulbs so will save a few pence a decade

This afternoon we have a face-to-face doctor appointment - 2nd in a week
well - not exactly - this one is apparently a nurse practioner - but whatever
previous one was a doctor at a different surgery - and was very rude and abrasive - only good thing was that my wife got the antibiotices she wanted

how this one is better - as it is at out proper surgery it should be OK

anyway - time to do the kitchen floor and then have lunch
