Going to be a early one for me tonight as I have have to be up early as I am up early to pick up the engines for the sailing club rescue boats, as they are away being serviced in Newark.
It’s the trouble with being retired , people think you have loads of of spare time on your hands.😂😀

Morning. Looks like another decent day, and quite mild. Shame I feel too fat and unfit to do much with it. I really need to get a grip on my diet. Even my Garmin tells me I’m stressed and poorly rested after eating too much in the evening

Morning folks,
might take the Orange Brommie in to Poole and pick up some stuff from Argos. Ours is inside the Sainsbury’s store which is next door to the Spoons beer garden entrance. ( as Rutger Hauer said in BladeRunner “ I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe “ )
Then it’s back to mop the floors and have a play with the recently rediscovered unused bag of attachments that came with our Vax steam mop when we purchased it several years ago.

Domestics first though after breakfast of porridge and mixed berries.
Dog walking in the mix as well.

Fish & Chips on the Esplanade at lunchtime, Pink Floyd tribute band in the evening and we're stopping over. Back home tomorrow.

Good day. We had a ride planned to an excellent but little known cafe. Wind is swirling, drizzle is drizzling, cold is cold. Ride cancelled. Pissed off with that is the only way to put it.

Instead I will light the woodburner and start preparing year end accounts for my u3a. Also need to look at transferring some of my tax allowance to Mrs P.

Getting together with our close group of friends tonight for Tapas. A Jacob's Join affair. Two of our number have family in Australia and leave for a four month visit next week.

I know that feeling, it's horrid and one I've been grappling with for a while. My solution has been to force myself out for a minimum one hour walk on the days when I can't ride. I do realise you already walk most days.
