Morning all.
I'm off to meet the Codgers group of retired railwayman today.
Ten pin bowling first, and then a bite to eat after. It's our monthly meeting of the group which now numbers 70 in total, but normally about a dozen regulars turn up to the days out.
Back from Aldi with my report.
1. It was surprisingly cold out there. All cars on surrounding roads are frozen over.
2. People have gone mad on buying fruit. Not a cucumber or tomatoes to be seen. All I needed were bananas and there were loads of them.
We have a new(ish) pie shop near us. Its called To Pie For.
Last week my SiL brought us a meat a potato.....beautiful. rammed full of steak.
Today I bought another one.... plus a steak n ale PLUS a large custard.
Think we are having the custard now the one of the pies with wedges later.
Right......I have a cast iron cert for a money making idea. I just need your valued advice.
Everyone is going crazy buying up tomatoes etc.
I have just found 3 small tomatoes in the fridge and am thinking of selling them on ebay.
Questions.......
1. How much should I ask for them???
2. How shall I pack them.
Any suggestions welcome.
