Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I dunno.
Wait for the speeding tickets and parking fines to arrive.

If I get some, I will have proof that it wasn't me driving as I didn't even have it in my possession.

Morning all :hello:

Yay! Tis Fish Friday :hungry::cheers:
Off to Barnstaple this morning for an eye test, then lunch in Wetherspoons.
Dropped in to our Estate Agents yesterday and was told to expect exchange of contracts  next week due to a delay at our vendors end.
They had said we would exchange at the end of this week!
Delay after delay!
Getting past a joke now.

Morning. Bit of rain overnight but a pleasant morning now. I managed a very slow 5k jog but the old legs were so heavy I was scuffing my feet and tripping on anything bigger than a matchstick! Still, it's a start. I'm sure if I could lose some of the lard I have accumulated the last few months it would help a lot.

Barnet,
Having played ten pin bowling yesterday with the codgers from work, my left knee is very sore and stiff today.😔
I went downstairs first thing, and in the kitchen was a rat that the cat had killed and bought back for us overnight. This is the second one in a week, I shall have to investigate the garden for signs of a nest. At least one of our cats is working for their keep. It's Harry, the big tabby doing his stuff at the moment.
He's now resting after a busy night.

Good day. I see I haven't managed to check in since Tuesday. It's been hectic. Weather looks promising for today. 7⁰ at 9.00 with sun and a light NW wind. Heading out to the coast with buddies on my Cervelo for the first time since October. :bicycle: The Kinesis is still poorly.

I have to raise the tricky subject of our planned French tour. I suspect others need to revise their domestic arrangements.

Mrs P has got Wimbledon tickets!! This means a two night stay in London plus train down and back. Apparently the booked accommodation is very reasonable for Wimbledon fortnight. I dread to think.

Question time. Our rail cards have lapsed. I think someone here mentioned anyone with a hearing aid prescription qualifies for a disabled rail pass.

Is this correct?
T'weren't on here, but here, and north of the border.
