Not sure what I am doing today because the bike shop hasn't rung to say anything about when the bike will be free

I do know that the bloke from the bathroom company is coming at 4 to check a few things now we have chosen the tiles and stuff (for now - SWMBO is known to change her mind!)

Then I am down to give blood at 18:45 in Warrington - can;t normally find an appointment within a reasonable distance and within a few months
Most of the ones it came up with were July or later then I noticed this so I just grabbed it

ANyway - not exactly busy

Oh - ironing done and all that - lots of tidying donw last night

Bathroom cleaned and I walked up to the recycling centre with a load of jam jars and bottles.
My take on a Spanish omelet for lunch.

It feels like one of those days today, with the pest man and my Good Ladies hair dresser due about eleven I did the super market shop last night, the idea being that I would give myself the chance to do the market shop first thing, but not only was the carer late, which scuppered that idea, but we had a new one that had to be shown what to do, the pest man was on time, we've now got a bait box under the shed, the hair dresser though was late, a mix up over the times.

Weather has been interesting around here with another blizzard, lows of -27 F and prolly a foot of snow. I am getting sick of this but a chinook will arrive this afternoon and it will be 40 tomorrow. That is 40 F and 40 mph SW winds. Going to Mexico next month sounds better all the time. Be safe and well....

Just reading about British orchards removing their fruit trees and closing down as it’s unviable due to costs here now. Meanwhile we import even more foreign fruit and veg. Something is seriously wrong with this country

Good day. I see I haven't managed to check in since Tuesday. It's been hectic. Weather looks promising for today. 7⁰ at 9.00 with sun and a light NW wind. Heading out to the coast with buddies on my Cervelo for the first time since October. The Kinesis is still poorly.

I have to raise the tricky subject of our planned French tour. I suspect others need to revise their domestic arrangements.

Mrs P has got Wimbledon tickets!! This means a two night stay in London plus train down and back. Apparently the booked accommodation is very reasonable for Wimbledon fortnight. I dread to think.

Question time. Our rail cards have lapsed. I think someone here mentioned anyone with a hearing aid prescription qualifies for a disabled rail pass.

Is this correct?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, you get discounted railcards if you have a hearing aid.
