Morning all

Taking the steam train to Minehead at 11 am this morning and meeting up with our mates. We are then travelling back the whole distance of the WSR to Bishops Lydeard to the Quantock Brewery for a swift 'alf and a Pasty. Should be fun.

No idea what the day will bring......we shall see.
On my recent visit to Aldi I bought some slices of beef topside plus some part baked cobs.......what a lovely lunch that made.
I have some left mmmm.

Guess what. It's raining.
Today will be hall carpet cleaning with the new machine. It worked well in the front and back rooms, so the hall gets the treatment today.

G'day. Mild, still and grey. An ideal cycling morning but this is off the agenda. #3 son and partner, small person's parents, need decorating help. Popped over the other day and it was clear they have no skills. I've offered to spend a day helping and passing on the basics of how to prepare and then decorate a room. 😇😇

A diabolical sleep last night. Mrs P, God bless her, put her light on at 1.30........I was still awake at 6.00am as a result. 😪
