I have a feeling that I know what we are eating today (and tomorrow).
Our son sent his Mum a hamper for mothers day......it weighs a lot and is from the Cornish Tea Company.
So, pasties, cream teas etc. As I say it is very heavy.....I am frightened of opening it.

Anyway - late as usual - posting in the morning is a bit much for me and my attention was distracted by 'another forum'

Anyway - up , done Tesco (including the plastic recycling that I have been forgetting for weeks) and had lunch
QUick coffee before I try the farm shop as I am running out of fruit and Veg - which doesn;t bother SWMBO as she doesn't eat any of that healthy stuff ()

We are expecting a visitation this afternoon from her son and the grandkids
that's twice in 2 days!!
I am presumning it will be accompanied by some flowers - if not I will nip out first thing in the morning and try and get some special offers from Tesco

Hi again . Just a quick update . Been sailing and feeling a lot better. ( my sailing was rubbish even for me 😀)

Table has been laid and the chicken is in the oven , just waiting for he in-laws who are coming about 4.30 . Fingers crossed we can get to 8 o’clock when they go home , without Mrs exlaser going off on one .

Then I can relax with a glass of wine and start the count down to next Mother’s Day.😂😀

Well - it's 10 past 4 and there is no visit or phone call from SWMBO's son - or the grandkids

we were not promised a visit but it was implied that 'they would if they could'


suppose the kids Mum has priority and also they have another gran (they call her Nanny) that lives closer and is less likely to take offense

still - he damn well better ring up later!!!!

Neighbours son is visiting. His Mini Cooper S JC Works is parked on their driveway next to Mrs D's Cooper S electric 3 and they do look rather splendid together.

Squirrel n'chips doesn't quite sound right. You did the right thing sticking with fish n'chips.
