The CB was Aldis in slices......very lean and tasty.

Mo you made me feel guilty so just went out for a walk around the outskirts of the village 6555 steps that's enough for one day

I have turned off alerts for that stupid emergency warning alarm that the government is going to be testing later on in the month. Thanks but no thanks.

Seems as though you can't turn the actual 10 second alert though.

Unless you're not on a 4 or 5G network. It won't work/sound on older 2G/3G phones, as it's not designed to.

I have been wondering about this
Wonder if anyone will check to see of there is a big rise in car crashes at the time it goes off
apparently it carries son until you cancel it
but if you are driving then you can;t touch it - legally anyway
so it will keep sounding - loudly apparently - until it annoys you enough that you think
"Sod it - I'll just cancel it
now where is it
damn thing is stuck in my pocket"

followed by
"Damn I just crashed into the car in front that was also swerving all over the road"

or am I being silly

Seems that way. It'll only work with newer smart phones from what I've seen.
