Another walk done. 33,000 steps for the day. Really lovely out there now.
I have a book with just a few chapters left so I’ll finish that now with a cuppa.
Well done Mo, I've not been out todayThe average step length for females is 2.2 feet so 33,000 steps equals 13.75 miles.

Just done it. I would probably be drinking tea at the time and spill it everywhere if I got a fright!![]()
I'm not allowed to ask then?Mo beat you to it![]()
Seems as though you can't turn the actual 10 second alert though.I have turned off alerts for that stupid emergency warning alarm that the government is going to be testing later on in the month. Thanks but no thanks.![]()
Can you imagine being on a train, railway station, or hospital, when it goes off?I have been wondering about this
Wonder if anyone will check to see of there is a big rise in car crashes at the time it goes off
apparently it carries son until you cancel it
but if you are driving then you can;t touch it - legally anyway
so it will keep sounding - loudly apparently - until it annoys you enough that you think
"Sod it - I'll just cancel it
now where is it
damn thing is stuck in my pocket"
followed by
"Damn I just crashed into the car in front that was also swerving all over the road"
or am I being silly
again

Unless you're not on a 4 or 5G network. It won't work/sound on older 2G/3G phones, as it's not designed to.
First I've heard about though.
Seems that way. It'll only work with newer smart phones from what I've seen.So I'll hear it, if I don't turn it off, but my Good Lady won't.
