Been out most of the day and arrived home...
... DPD had 'delivered' a box of High5 Energy Gels via Amazon.
Left under carport (that's fine with us), picked up the box (display carton with no outer wrapping whatsoever) and it was empty!
Stupid packaging and stupid driver for leaving a small and patently empty box.
The driver probably has 20 energy gels strewn across the floor of his van!
Grrr!
They are refunding and I have placed order again for tomorrow.

On the plus side tomorrow's delivery should be early, as the driver will have a mysterious excess of energy.

Well finally we have our kitchen back from the builders!
It had to be outof bounds as they had laid the new floor tiles
now the utility room is out instead - so no washing machine or dryer available
They are not in tomorrow as they have to be somewhere else (dunno why???) but one of them is coming in first thing to check the floor tiles in the utility room and take the spacers out so we can use it
then badk in on Thursday and will be in on Monday in spite of it being a Bank Holiday
Did have a medical appointment to get ears syringed - but I was only expecting the left one to be done - apparently the right one is also totally blocked so I have to do the olive oil thing with that as well and have another appointment in 2 weeks
then went to LBS and he fixed a broken front mudgard and replaced a missing bolt from the chain guard
and didn't charge me!!!
nice guy - but he'll never be a millionaire!!!

I have risen! 1st!
Morning all 
New sofas arriving early this morning. We are drop #4 and they are currently in Taunton on drop #1.
We're catching the steam train to Bishops Lydeard around midday, meeting up with the Minehead crew on the train for a pasty, then having a liquid lunch at the Quantock brewery.

Good morning Drago, Dirk and all others.
Its threatening to be a decent day weather wise.
Yesterday wasn't nice as we had a nurse and occupational therapist here......trying to change things for MrsDs benefit1 and she is digging her heels in ie resisting changes eg they want to provide one of those super duper electric beds for her but it would mean us sleeping separately but its difficult when we have slept together for 55 years.
Hey ho.....we will see how things go.

Was going to clean the gutters, soffitts, fascias and windows today but the weather is a bit dreich and cool. Forecast looks warmer for the weekend to that job put back by 3 days.

Hospital bed? We've got one in the back of the lounge, we didn't get a choice, when my Good Lady came out of hospital about three years ago her mobility was non existent and that was the only way.
