The rain has arrived. I managed to get a couple of hours in the garden, tidying up. The mutt has had her second walk of the day as well.
Tea tonight is a couple of freezer surprises. One box looks like it could be a curry, the other some kind of chicken meal.

Eyes all done, not too bad this time, but the weather forcast was right heavy rain and I had to walk back 2.4 miles
like a drowned rat by thr time I got home still I got there in the dry

I love a game of freezer roulette. I do remember some years ago cooking some chips to go with a shepherds pie only to find it was apple crumble.

Sausage rolls for us today. And we can expect rain by 2 pm

We were down the cafe, we had a change of plans and went to the Cosy cafe, its not the best cafe round here but its next to the bus stop which makes life easier when theres rain forecast, I had egg on toast and my Good Lady had a Ham batch, when ever my Good Lady orders a ham batch there we see the owner nip out to the shop next door for a pack of ham. We had a good afternoon down the club and as a bonus I won a fiver on the Bingo, rain had arrived by the time we were heading home but it was only light.

I had a few occurrences like that

Then I started using old take-away boxes to freeze stuff and labelled them with a Sharpie before freezing them.

The Sharpie comes off fine with some alcohol based hand gel - which we have loads of due to the Pandemic panic!!

Tested negative which is a bugger really. I feel fine but if I'm going to be positive I'd like to get it out the way ASAP.

Wait while you start going for walks around 2am, and think there's nothing odd about it.
