Totally agree. At least half of ours are part time too. Something broken when a town is allowed to keep building new houses at a rapid rate when the inhabitants can barely see a doctor and our schools are approaching capacity.

Exactly the same situation here We have had approx 260 new houses on three separate developments plus some smaller picemeal developments Two more of 80 properties are waiting for planning approval .

Pharmacy is struggling to manage prescription Usually it took two days for prescription sto be ready for collection Went to collect mine yesterday ordered a week ago. They were trying to catch up with prescription from mid April School is at capacity Can’t see how are local Gp practice is going to cope

All the developments have bee on prime farm land .No consideration given to what improvement is required to the infrastructure of the village.

We have a similar problem here re housing but in our case it's mobile homes. They are not supposed to live in them, but they spend 11 out of 12 months on the sites near town, use all the facilities IE Dr's dentists, chemist etc without paying into the community. It puts an Intolerable strain on everyone. No one i town can see a Dr. People are not getting the mess as they are running out etc. It's a stupid situation.

And to change the subject, it's now raining 🌧

I took my car in and popped into the bike shop next door and bought some self sticking patches for 2 pounds and had a good look at all those beautiful bikes. When I came out, 40 minutes later and waited for a bus home outside the dealership, my car was still waiting to go in.

Just finished off a session in my little gym - it was a workshop when we moved in but a lick of paint and some carpet and voila: does the job.
