I think we are having pasties today.

Not sure. It’ll either be a cold meat and tomato sandwich or maybe a fried egg one. Can’t decide. Miss Molly will get a small handful of dry food.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I bought some blacking for the fire the other day. Reading the destructions, I have to put it on in thin layers, then light a fire for it to form a protective coating. Knight do a couple of layers this afternoon or this evening, then light a small fire in the morning while it's still cool just to set it.

Our original plan for this morning got binned because of the weather, the bright sun and warmth forecast for today still hasn't arrived yet, instead we hopped on the bus into town for a wander round and something to eat, we went into a cafe we haven't used since my Good Lady has been in the wheelchair, unfortunately its not suitable for a wheelchair user, the food is decent, the staff are friendly and the price ain't bad, but they use tables and chairs that are a set and bolted together, you can't move the chairs, I managed to get my Good Lady on the end of a table but because the chairs aren't movable I had trouble getting sat down. apart from that it was good to get my Good Lady out of the house for a couple of hours, she hadn't been out at all yesterday.

It's a new line at Greggs. Their inclusive, cosmopolitan menu. Prefer mine with a pepper cream sauce.
Do you prefer the skin off or skin on version.
Wait 'til you try their earthworm hot dog.

Just found this recipe might recommend to Greegs

Scatter matter pudding green snot pie Dead dogs giblets blind man’s eyes.Mix them all together nice and thick .Wash it all down with a cup of cold sick 🤮🤮🤢🤢

Sounds as appetising as your earthworm hot dog

35.10 finishing time?

You are Miss Marple AICMFP 😁
That's me Mo. Had a good natter with a guy who knew Don Richie, a running legend who I had the privilege to compete against on a few occasions. He was heading up to Forres to run a 10k this afternoon, and I'm still on the Edinburgh train having lost all feeling in my bum from sitting so long. 10k Bluebell run in the morning, I had set myself a target time, but have decided to "go with the flow of transient time " , run on heartrate, admire the bluebells and see what develops.

Afternoon all , Been messing in the garden all morning , cutting the grass and putting some strawberry plans into pots . Now watching Giro ( it’s ok no spoilers ) .
Going to our sailing club prize giving this evening, I think mrs exlaser will need a bag to bring her trophies home in as she was the big winner last year 😀. Don’t think I have much ( maybe a couple of seconds or thirds ) but I am not bothered , I know my place 😂 . It’s should be a good good evening .

Good afternoon.
Just got back from Gustard Wood and lunchtime in the Cross keys.
A very nice walk in the woods, the bluebells were still out, although starting to go over now.
The temperature seems to be dropping again, so much for the sunny, 19⁰ that was forecast.
I have a few things recorded to watch tonight so that I can easily miss the Eurotrash competition.

Good afternoon from gloriously sunny Lancashire. I was around earlier and then realised the time. To be able to get a ride in I needed to prepare tea, get the laundry ironed and tidied. #1 son and partner coming to stay over.........Mrs P and DIL are big Eurovision fans..........its going to be a long and tedious evening. Still bought a nice Malbec and have prepared one of my favourite pasta dishes........braised leeks and mushrooms with a parmesan and cream cheese sauce. Yummy.

Great ride in the sun today. 60 miles, 15.4 avg to home but 16 to the finish point at 55. Pleased with this.

I'm on bar duty at the club. ½ pint of IPA, pint of Carlsberg, Prosecco and a white win sold in 50 minutes. It's quiet today.

@Dave7 sounds positive

Barnet,
It’s been lovely here but I have stayed indoors. Couldn’t face the hordes on the walks and still can’t seem to get myself out cycling.

I see there’s some sort of singing contest on telly tonight  I think I will just read.

I've been listening to a series on Radio 4 called Lady Killers. Lucy Worsley, the historian looks back at Victorian murders committed by women. They are very good programs.
They are all on the BBCsounds site.
I will catch up with a few more of them tonight.
