I'm sure you've check carefully but I don't think being contracted out has an impact on the standard state pension. It does influence Additional State Pension (SERPS).
Aye lad, I was contracted out and as of 1st April this year I now have the contribution history required to qualify for full state pension when it rolls around, probably when I'm eleventy-eight. Fortunately I fine without it as I am.




, at the end of this month as I've just turned 70, I'm going to reward myself by gong down to ONE day a week 'til the end of the year then nowt days - !
