Yes. We met when she was 16. Married when she was 19. 55 great years** and a great family.
**so many good memories but sadly I can't think of them without crying.
Fortunately she is not on any drugs etc so it shouldn't drag on too long.

Dave - it sounds like you had a lovely marriage and you were both blessed in meeting each other. She'll soon be at rest. My thoughts are with you and your family. Here's sending you strength.

Back from hospital. They have taken my beautiful wife off 'everything' now ie not even any water.

Woke at 3, then 4, then at 5 I gave in and got up.
Bins done (blue and green).
Might do an Aldi dash at 0800 though I really don't want much.
Breckie will be ??? Toast??
Later I am determined to have chicken, onion, garlic, pasta and a sauce.

Can tell its a still day. I'm eating brekkie mwith the French doors to the garden open and I just heard the sound of a train passing by on the wast coast mainline about a mile away.

Looks like another sunny day here.
Got to cut the rear lawns this morning and trim back a laurel hedge.
The Chuckle Brothers went back home yesterday, so we had a nice quiet night.

Just come on your post so extending late sympathy.
I have been there and know that the waiting is really bad.
My wife took ill at 0530 or thereabouts and it took an ambulance 12 minutes to cover the 10 miles to get here. She did not die officially until 0206 the following day.
