Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I’m sure my tinnitus is getting louder. Really whistling just now. Weird as I have never listened to loud music or worked in particularly noisy environments.

I've had that for about 3 years now. Just my left ear thank god. Last week it seemed a bit muted than usual, but this week it is as loud as ever.

For me it's like a high pitched continous sound.

I've had it for years, a combination of noisy work environment and loud music, I can't listen to silence, its a sssusing noise like an off tune short wave radio.

We are off to Tean ( near Stoke) at about 4 to daughter 1 and then to Bideford in the morning to daughter 2. It breaks the journey up a bit. Back next Friday. I am taking my bike so I can go on the Tarka trail again and other places too while the women do their own thing.
The weather looks very promising so it should be a good week away.
Molly can see the suitcases ready to be loaded and she won't leave my side. Of course she is coming too.

I've been for a trike ride 17.4 miles, there's a lot of pot holes out there, one I'm going to report.

The roads are in some state sadly. I see our local council yard has an enormous pile of chippings sitting ready to start top dressing. Hate that stuff. It only lasts a matter of months before it gets broken up and ends up all rough and ridged again.

And the chips are themselves an abrasive medium and over the long term a acdelerate the degradation of the road. At best it's a temporary solution to buy time for proper resurfacing, but it gets used time and time again as a repair in its own right.

"We don't afford resurfacing", say the council highways contractor, but they can still afford to take money out as profit.
