Today's exciting delivery is cat food from Zooplus. 🐱 I think it will be the afternoon before it arrives though.

Off to the supermarket now.

A friend of ours just popped in to say hello, her cars in the garage down the road, I struggle to get my head round the fact that her and my Good Lady have been friends for over 70 years, amazing.

Yes, amazing. Mrs @BoldonLad has two friends, who she met on her first day at Infant school, so, about 71 years ago. They go for lunch/coffee together about once per month, even now. I refer to them as “the ladies who lunch”, or, in my darker moods, “the coven”. ;)

Barnet,
I've got two mates who I see regularly every week or so. We met at our first day in primary school, January 1963.
Both of them have moved around quite a bit, one living in South Africa during the 70's, and the other moving out to Norfolk. We still stayed on touch during those times, and for the last 30 years or so they have lived back locally.

I loved it too. I just watch things without over analysing them and look on it as entertainment.

Me too , I either like it or not . Not worried if it follows the source material or is historically accurate, unless it pretending to be a documentary 😀

The worst people for this are science fiction or fantasy fans. They all go ape if an adaptation is not the same as book/graphic novel word for word or in some cases picture for picture. 😂

Enjoy your easy day and river walk.

I'm not good at making friends either, and have very few.

I don't have friends, the ones I had when I was in my twenty's are all dead
The ones I had when I was married disapeared........
Had a few friends while I was fishing as they used my car and wouldn't use their cars, they disapeared too......

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I don't have any friends, but that's because I am an anti social old lady.

Anything that is poorly scripted, poorly acted or is just plain prepostorous is given short-shrift here.

A particular no-no is where the audience is treated as being dumb and ill-informed and are served-up lazy 'can't be arsed to try harder' generic fodder.

Oooh; grumpy person in da house!

I have been weed killing. Bought a slightly smaller back pack sprayer as the old one was so heavy I nearly toppled over. This one is just 10 litres and the whole thing is a bit smaller so more easily managed.

Nearly lunch time I suppose. It will just be a sandwich of some description.

The sun still hasn't made it through here yet.
