I watched 2 episodes of Foyle’s War. Telly off now as there’s nothing else I fancy watching.

Looks like we might have rain in the morning and quite humid.

anyway - we did get some heavy rain so that'll help the grass a bit

We have had no rain for several weeks now, and the garden is bone dry. None is forecast either.
Tomorrow, MissP is taking me shopping. Apparently I need a couple of new Tee shirts, some new shorts, sandals, and a couple of short sleeved summer shirts. My wardrobe needs refreshing according to my daughter.
Admittedly I haven't bought any new clothes for years, but I do get my monies worth out of what I do have.

Thats the first properly hot sunny day for a long time, and very nice it was, it would be nice now to have some rain to refresh the garden and fill my water butt, after my ride this morning I got showered and changed then helped my Good Lady into her wheelchair and took her out to lunch, we got with in a few yards of the bus stop and the bus went past so I ended up pushing her to the cafe, Food Whitehall in Beake avenue, it was quicker than waiting for the next bus. My Good lady is fond of tinned rice and we had two cans in the cupboard, She asked for some after tea and when I opened them they were both off, two virgin unopened tins, one only brought yesterday.

Watched the footy - not a classic; far from.

A bit of a throwback Paloma night with concerts cast onto the TV from YT and cranked real loud.

EDM next on the agenda.

Drinking vodka, Fever Tree tonic and frozen blueberries - lovely.

Mrs SD looking knockout tonight too.

Last summer we did a full circuit of the Isle of Wight on board: just a fabulous craft. A tad chilly off the SW coast approaching the Needles, but what a brilliant day out!

No thunder so far here but it’s been raining and a bit more to come before it dries up in the afternoon. Not sure whether to risk a walk or not. It’s quite humid which I hate.
