Morning all.
Off to my aunts funeral today . She was a lovely lady , always full of fun and adventure right to the very end, even in the last year when her health was failing and she had to carry oxygen around all the time . She was a real force of nature.
The last couple of funerals I’ve been to have been very sad because of their personal circumstances.
This will be more of a celebration of a life well lived.

Morning all, not been here for ages.

Our dog has taken to waking up at 5.30 for breakfast so up in plenty of time to get ready for the charity ride were doing this morning. 50 miles or so, but mostly flat, to Clatterbridge hospital, but it's going to be a hot one

Morning all, the bin men were early today so the old black bag has gone, we don't do wheelie bins here in my block.
I've been asked to trim someones bush, other than that I don't have a lot on.

It's 25.1c here already.

I've been asked to trim someones bush, other than that I don't have a lot on.

Well, trimming someones bush could take a few hours if care is taken 🙂

Good morning all. I've been up some time. Other half has taken the day off work today as holiday, which is good, as it should make for a nice weekend. Still blimming hot though isn't it.

I had a good ride yesterday, but spent the latter part of the day having a bit of rant at people who are wrong on the internet. Such a waste of time and energy.

I won't be a crushing bore with loads of detail, but long story short a family member has been having a horrendous time and subject to violent attacks from some thugs leading to a police enquiry etc. Stupid of me, but it causes me to be sufficiently angry to want to take on the kinds of morons on the internet that drive this.

I had a decent ride out yesterday morning and met with some friends for lunch, but the heat really does get to me - I'm not good with it.

I don't know how I'll spend the day - probably just end up mooching and eating too much of the wrong kinds of things. Oh and scrolling back here to see what I missed yesterday.

The flapjack is delicious. Firm, sticky, raisins, peanuts and cashews lift it nicely. Possibly a little too sweet. Next test is how well does it freeze?

They have done the sides so it's just a bit off the top as they can't reach it.
