Morning all.

Another early start as Bruce (see my avatar) has got it into his head that breakfast is at 5.30!

Good news is my shortened stem on my bike has sorted my massive head and neck aches, so not suffering overmuch after yesterday's 50.

Since I'm up, and the better half is off to park run, I might as well open the brew shed, I have an erdinger grain mix that needs brewing 👍

Good morning all.
A cloudy start to the day here, but very warm and humid.
Plenty of washing to be done, plus a trip to the local shops as there is a lack of fruit, veg and food in general in the house.
Gives me a chance to get out on the bike later on.

My trip to town was (to say the least) interesting.
Not been to town in years.
Not been on a bus for years.
Mr Google told me bus was due at 13.20 so I was there for 13.05. At 13.30 we all accepted it wasn't coming.
I phoned a friend who dropped everything and got me there.
There were parts of town I did not recognise..... they have levelled so much and 'thrown up' so many multi stories.
THE BANK!!.....all I am trying to do is switch MrsDs ISA to mine.
Filled out various forms but still need other information. They will then send it to head office who will contact me..... and on it goes. WE HAVE BEEN WITH TSB FOR 50 YEARS!!!.

Then to top my day off I just missed the bus home so had to wait an hour for the next one.
Buses are a bloody joke.

Oh dear. I would not have given that to a child.

Was it a case of handbags at dawn  . Who won.
Well, Mrs G did empty half of it in the sink .

Morning again. Not long back a slightly longer walk than intended as I met a local guy and his dog and he asked if I fancied joining him and doing the other side of the river so it's a bit of a higgledy piggledy map this morning

Up early for a change.

No party night last night which is very unusual for us.

Mrs SD had a very upset stomach yesterday - no idea why as we had eaten the same things the night before.

She looked proper washed out so we decided on an early Kindle & Cuddle night, got in bed and she just crashed straight out.

Hoping she feels better when she wakes up.

Doss day planned, apart from a session on the gym.

I have been sitting here taking a look at my exercise stats for the rolling ytd and here you can see the impact of my illness on my Intensity Minutes, normally my monthly figures are more like the ones over the last few months when I have finally felt able to crack on. I'm not stat obsessive but do find some metrics.useful for motivation purposes.
