Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
And the rain is set in for the day here.

Lunch consumed.

I have pottered in my workroom. And Mr WD is watching some rubbish on YouTube

Anyone else got a wife/hubby/partner who seems to innately know when you're just getting down to doing something and suddenly need your help?

Literally just got my bike out to take some measurements to transfer onto my wattbike, when she suddenly needs help to reach some corners she can't get to, painting the bathroom (for the record, she decided she wanted to do it, it's not urgent)
So, put everything down, go and do what needs doing, come back, and it's raining so now I'm stymied!

You know you can't say no. It would cause so much hassle to say it to SWMBO.

That is part of the marriage contract - it is printed on the back of the certificate in writing that only women can see or read

apparently

RIght anyway

sent reply to the school IT Techician that was there when I taught there - he sent a catch up message a few days ago and I needed to send one back
nice chap - glad he is still there

was about to cut the lawn, only done a few days ago but since the rain it has grown again and the green bin collection is tomorrow
but as soon As I got the keys and went outside I felt the first drop of rain - so that idea is out

anyway been out to the butcher and got mor ethan I intended
then went to stock up at Tesco
They have a 25% off for 6 or more bottle of wine - so I stocked up.
bit of a change as a year or so ago I would have got 12 bottles to keep up going for a week or so and nowadays those 6 will probably last us over a month - maybe 2
which is good - I think - wonder why my iron levels are down and I get lots of cramps though????

anyway - shopping done and put away

probably time for a cuppa
