Good morning all. Just for @Davits a lovely sunny morning here, but thunderstorms are forecast for around lunchtime.
I'll be out on the bike a little later on this morning to the market and local shops as we are a bit lacking in the fresh fruit department.
Then I'll settle down at some point this afternoon to watch the cycling. I record the program and start to watch it but can then whizz through the adverts and then catch up in real time towards the finish

Good day. It's a beautiful but very windy day here. We have heavy rain forecast from 1.00pm. I'm organising a club ride today which should take 4 hours plus a cafe stop. I think the wind could slow the pace meaning the last hour would be in a thunderstorm. I'm not doing that! I'll suggest a shorter, 47 mile route with a bail out point if it rains. Should get that done in 3 hours and home by 1.00pm - dry!!!! 🤞

I have a cold! 😷

Busy chasing a mole around the garden.
Was active near the end….popped the trap down. Appears the next day 30yards away. Nip out to shops. Another mound of earth next to the new one. Relocate trap….no luck.
Grrr!
Did successfully relocate a small frog to safety though….

I'm currently on a bit of a health kick trying to cut back on using things with nasty chemicals so just did my first wash with my new washing powder. I was a bit worried my exercise gear might still have some lingering whiffs, but seems absolutely fine. I just went for the unscented one so not even any perfumes in it.

I've been using natural deodorant and body wash and shampoo with no nasties in it too.

Took Bruce for a walk. Soon as I'm out the front door the air felt heavy as if a storm was imminent. Nevertheless, I took him up to the high ground by the wind turbines before any notional storm could hit.

Wrong!

There I am 200M ASL, pretty much the highest land between here and the North Sea and KABOOOOOOOM! I scurried on down as quick as my little legs would manage in order not to become CycleChat's first ever human lightning conductor.
