Morning/afternoon all.

Well today started off badly as the car alarm on my better half's car kept going off, I suspect the biblical rain yesterday must have got one of the sensors, but it meant I was up and down between 12 & 3.
The big issue is of course that Ford have built the car so you can't disable the alarm and have the car locked!
My wife worked as an engineer at Ford for 30+ years, but I hate the way they've built the mach-e systems. Car is fine but the settings etc grrrr.

So anyway I then couldn't get back to sleep and ended up with a massive migraine that resulted in a hot water bottle on my neck, an ice pack on my head and the rest of me stuffed full of naproxen codeine and paracetamol!

That finally eased so I pottered into the garage to do a quick little job on my car which resulted in it dumping the contents of the coolant system all over the garage floor.
After lots of grief and hassle I now feel I've achieved something because my car is now in the same state as it was before I touched it. There's a lesson in there somewhere.

This afternoon will be filled with cricket and F1, and absolutely no fettling of any kind

I have just got the cushions from off the patio chairs as it looks like it could rain. Forecast is for thunder, lightning and heavy rain

We had a yellow warning for thunder yesterday. Still waiting! I think the Met Office is inclined to play safe and give the warnings after getting their fingers burned many years ago when they didn’t warn about some catastrophe or other. Can’t even remember what it was now?

Just having a look at Strava for the 10k route. I can only imagine this guy was the winner. Given how uneven and muddy the route is, that’s bloody impressive!
