@Tenkaykev @Lee_M I wish I had these sort of skills. Makes perfect sense but I'm basically very bad at this sort of thing.

Got to be done though as oddly I get a similar feel about this car as I do my bikes - it just suits me and I'm not a car person. Far from it.

I'm the same, I can check fluid levels and check for blown bulbs and thats about as far as I go, anything else goes to the garage.

This talk of mushrooms and Wales has reminded me of a time we visited a friend near Aberystwyth. This was 40+ years ago. She took us on a walk to gather wild mushrooms........well that was an interesting evening 🫢😎

Car insurance went up about £100 a couple of months back and have just got a renewal notice from Aviva for Buildings & Contents...

... last year £281 and this year £387!

Just renewed mine, down from £191 to £188 so I stuck with it.

Grass cut, garden tidied, Volvo waxed, lunch eaten. Feet up for a cuddle with Bruce before going to meet Mini D from school.

When you've got one of these it's kind of forced on you to learn all manner of fixes
