68, & my GP says I will officially be old at 70!

Had a very late night last night and have only been up 45 minutes.

Watched MI2 which was much better than MI1, consumed some booze, whacked the music on loud and eventually hit the sack, blah, blah, blah...

Drizzling out there so no bike ride today which is a PITA. Will get on the gym etc when my body wakes up.

If the TdF is an exciting stage I’ll watch it, if not I won't bother.

Tonight we will watch MI3 and have decided on a quiet night ie 'kindle & cuddle' and save ourselves for tomorrow night.

We do laugh at ourselves sometimes as whilst we have a lot of fun on the loving front, much more so than many couples our age, we look back and wonder how we managed so much when we were younger. Another facet of Aging Body Syndrome!

The new replacement mattress turned up on Wednesday and it is soooo... comfortable. The two of us can just about lift it between us whereas the young 20-something delivery guy carried about 100m with ease. Another example of ABS! Smashing happy chap so we gave him a decent tip.

Mrs SD has moved into her new handbag.

That's the end of today's News.

Have a good weekend when it happens. :okay:^_^

I am a tennis widower. A little earlier Mrs P said " we've got leeks and mushrooms, shall we have that pasta dish. Give me the recipe." I was happy - I've cooked 3 times since Monday. "Then again it is mens' semi-finals today, perhaps you could do it?"

Tomorrow is ladies' singles finals. We are going out in the evening - with two of the three ladies my wife has invited round to watch the tennis. Apparently there will be Pimms. This means I'm driving Saturday night AND after the tennis I have to drive the lady hosting us for dinner home so she can cook for us!!!!

I do not like Wimbledon.....🤣🤣🤣

I'm having a brew, sandwich and relax. Had a bit of a funny turn so went back to bed. I think you know I'm epileptic and lucky to know my triggers. About 10.45 I was walking to the allotment, suddenly felt dizzy and sweating profusely. Two of my triggers but it was really fast, usually get at least 20 minutes warning. Straight to the house, shovelled down three Aldi wheat biscuits and bed for an hour. All good now but bugger all work done.

I had a tuna and Mayo sandwich and Mr WD had a cheese and onion sandwich made with the freshly baked loaf. :hungry:

I've just made a loaf.....well the machine did, but I supervised
