Off to Bishops Lydeard on the train this morning to partake of the Quantock Brewery beer festival. Meeting up with best mates on the train from Minehead at 10.35 at Watchet Station.
Should be a fun day.

We have a female pheasant that has taken up residency. She started off with 12 chick's and she is down to 2. They are not good mothers, plus we have a lot of predators round here.

Morning. Seems we are getting the best of the weather for a change. It was cool and overcast when I first went out but the sun has broken through now and it's to remain dry all day.

Pleasant riverside trail walk done and porridge just finished. My peppermint tea bag should be nicely steeped now for a cuppa.

I might squeeze another little wander in before lunch then spend the afternoon watching the cycling.
