Went for my first run since " Arm- ageddon " on the 3rd June. Arm felt ok, pace was really slow but I managed 3k. Currently watching the Sweden vs USA game.

I've watched some of the race since the restart and have now had enough - road racing really is a very dull watch for most of the time.

Will tune-in nearer the finish.

Can I just ask - why do so many of you get up so early?

Serious question and not judgemental either - just intrigued.

After long careers of getting up early we must've subconciously decided that it really wasn't for us - we only do it for eg holiday travel reasons or an exceptionally long day in the Fells etc.

I know we would be outliers on a bell graph showing going to bed times but also cannot understand people going to bed so early - anything before midnight would be considered unusual for us and 9pm, 10pm etc would be reserved for times of illness etc.

In other News - no rain today so will mow front lawns, off to ASDA (yuk!), will watch a bit of the Mens Race inbetween.

We have decided on another party night tonight for the hell of it.

Have a good day all.

We are just "morning people", I suppose.

Usually in bed by 22:00 - 22:30, up at 6:30-7:00.

Morning is the best time of day, usually calm, quiet, few people about.

In answer to your question, I'm not a good sleeper, even with a eleven pm bed time I'm awake between five and six and can be awake earlier, we also have an early morning carer scheduled to arrive between half seven and half eight so I need to be up about seven to unlock so she can get in, during the week the carer is usually late but at the weekend she's usually early.
