Took a drive through to Comrie and finally walked up to the Melville Monument. I've only lived here 40 years and hadn't done it. Worth it for the views. Turned out quite warm. I was sweating on the climb up.

We're having fish and chips tonight, we've been down Jubilee Crescent and in the Jubilee Junction cafe for lunch, afterwards we crossed the road to do a bit of shopping in Asda before coming home. My back is OK if I keep moving but if I sit down for any length of time I can barely move when I try to start moving about again.

Sorry Dave r but it’s called unfortunately called advancing age . If I sit for to long I stiffen up. My b I l he belongs toa bowls club mostly older members,They were sitting chatting after a match and the discussion turned to physical decline Inactivity seemed to make matters worse and all agreed that the gentle exercise helped to ease joint stiffness

I was up at 0530 and went searching for the 'blue moon'. I did see it but cloud cover was just too thick, ahh well.

My son (living near Nottingham) gets married on Saturday and I am travelling there today, 1230.
Should be a good weekend as they own a pub with large gardens and will have a marque set up......food will be hog roast plus they have some Greek food (whatever that is) being brought in.

Morning folks :okay: Weather is looking good so out for a spin in a while. Did some gardening yesterday and had a slight back twinge this morning...will have to watch that as when my vertebrae take a lateral leap it wipes me out for days- gardening can be hazardous! Went a right ****er a while ago...walking backwards with a barrow i forgot there was a step behind and came crashing down with the hard angle of the concrete step giving me a nice purple welt across my back
