Took a drive through to Comrie and finally walked up to the Melville Monument. I've only lived here 40 years and hadn't done it. Worth it for the views. Turned out quite warm. I was sweating on the climb up.

We're having fish and chips tonight, we've been down Jubilee Crescent and in the Jubilee Junction cafe for lunch, afterwards we crossed the road to do a bit of shopping in Asda before coming home. My back is OK if I keep moving but if I sit down for any length of time I can barely move when I try to start moving about again.
I'm still waiting on a postcard, posted at Holyhead railway station in late July 1983, before the first postal collection of the day, to arrive.I can't see them lasting much longer. Some days they can't get cover for our area so we just don't get any mail.
This time next year...Still damp and horrible here, just put the black bag out for Fridays bin pick up,
I have a dream - one day I'll have a wheelie bin or two![]()
