Morning folks :okay: Think i'll pop into the opticians to make an appointment and get some new specs. I had to look up 'optometrists' to make sure thats actually an optician and not some whacky alternative that diagnoses by crystals and the phase of the moon
Sunny again but it never really gets too sticky/uncomfortable here even at its hottest which is fine by me :okay:

Just been up in the loft to stow a suitcase that our daughter had borrowed and returned. It's lovely and cool up there so I've left the hatch open for the time being. Our " Second Friday " meet up is in Poole today, The Lord Nelson, Brewhouse, Brewhouse and Kitchen, King Charles are on the agenda, plus there are a shed load more should the fancy take us 🍺🍺🍺

Morning all cloudy and cool here in North Somerset, supposed to get very hot here later and Mrs C wants to go shopping 🥵🥵

You need to put your foot down.
She needs to know exactly who the boss is!!
Let me know how you get on 🙂

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
It will soon be pheasant shooting season. 1st October through to February.

That means a squillion of the buggers will be running all over the roads, causing accidents and damage to people's cars, not to mention hundreds of thousands will be hit by vehicles.

My SiL is a sparky and he says working in lofts at this time of year is absolute torture.

I think they must be one of the thickest birds we have. They seem to have no sense at all. I remember dad telling me they weren't good parents either. Taste quite nice though.

Car done Hooray took me two hours and sweating like a pig more through fear in case it goes wrong than heat.
The first fuel injector clamp went in with a bit of a struggle as there was hardly any room, the next I nearly gave up as there was no way that was going in, so I had to disconnect the fuel rail along with all the steel fuel pipe work to get it in, a quick tighten up used my new torque wrench and angle gauge :hyper:and then fired her up which was first time so well pleased and saved me a lot of money.

Absolutely true. Totally thick as 2 short planks. And as parents they are god awful. In their defense, they have been reared I cages so that's the reason why they haven't got a clue where parenting is concerned.
