Why would I want to wash them?
I wash with soap then dry on sheets......surely that cleans them ?

Distinctly Autumnal here this morning.
I'm thinking of buying a motorbike again. Nothing fancy or too modern. Got my eye on a 350 AJS that's up for sale locally.
Same as this one.

From memory the 350 AJS was a big heavy bike ??
Was it the same/very similar to the Matchless.
My physical build made me more of a Triumph Cub/Honda 50 type person.

I'm sure I remember dad saying he had an AJS. He had changed the sprocket on it just before going to sit his test, forgot and did a wheelie when he took off in front of the instructor and presumed he would have failed, but when he finished the instructor said "Laddie, if you can hold on to that you are fine!"
It only lasts so long though.....maybe 5 years.

My brother says he hates driving and would love to get a bike again. I think his last one was a Suzuki 650 back in the day. I doubt very much he will get one now though

I haven't heard the bin men yet. They keep conveniently forgetting us on this lane. People have complained and said its 3 weeks between the bins being collected. Powys council denied that, then blamed it on lack of staff. You can't have it both ways. It's been 3 Thursdays since ours was emptied.
I remember when getting a job on the bins was almost impossible because It was such a population job. You had to know someone who knew someone to get one. How times change.
