SO far so good today
Up before 8 - which is unusual recently

had breakfast while watching something or other on the telly

Then decided that I really ought to fix my wife's laptop before I start doing something for otehr people
otherwise she might not mention it but will notice!!!

anyway - I havn;t done much proper computer stuff for ages - and last time I got paid for it I was working on Windows 7 and only did a bit of WIndows 10 to test the school's systems on it
And - as usual - Microsoft have "made it better" by changing some things and moving a load of other things into different places - and it that doesn;t work - then renaming things

anyway - found the device manager - which help

tried a few thing sthat didn;t help then decided to go mad and just re-inatll the drivers which seems to have fixed the most likely problem
at least it has fixed the main one she showed me

as with anything computery - it might not have fixed everything - but it is certainly better

then made a cuppa - only to discover we were out of milk
should have thought ahead and left a drop when making breakfast - but I didn;t
so did some shopping - forgot milk and had to go back for it!!

anyway - now at home drinking tea and typing rubbiosh into a forum as usual

Glad it’s not just me that does that!

When people start giving inanimate objects a name, you know there's a problem.

Greg is a link to an algorythm by coach Greg McMillan who designed a coaching plan for various distances and abilities. The algorythm is quite sophisticated and constantly monitors the amount and quality of sleep, resting heartrate, heartrate in activity, current and average pace, gradient, and a host of other variables and adjusts the upcoming workout to compensate. I've been running for 40+ years, know my body's response to exercise extremely well, and find the Garmin coach system outstandingly good.
