Right - we are back and all kids dumped back on parents - or aunt in one case as his Mum will pick him up after tea
We have had the 3 year old (just) since 9 a.m.
Unfortunately I have to report that he has a malfunction
his "waking up adults" function seems to have a fault
My wife has sleep problems so doesn;t get up until late - hence was still asleep when he arrived
after a hour or two I took him upstaits and said "were is Gran"
and "go wake Gran up"
and "shout GRAN very loudly"
but he just didn;t understand
I mean - his brother and sister were rubbish at it - but seem seemd just non functional
at ne point I was putting some books away in his bedroon and he went out to our room
he went round the door but then came back
I asked him if he had woekn Gran up and he said "I can;t"
WHAT
a 3 year old can wake any adult up = normally involving knees and elbows and noise
but not him apparently!!!

Well - he's not ours - my wife's son and his partner (will they EVER get married????)
