Anyone noticed the lack of Advent calenders in the shops?
Personally, I think their days are numbered.

Good morning from sunny Poole. The builders are due to arrive soon to start the shower room. They are chasing out the floor to fit a low level shower tray so I expect it to be noisy at first!

The interesting one I've seen is Advent Calendar jigsaws, every box you open contains part of the jigsaw and over the month you complete it.

The sun is shining but it is quite cool.

Good morning. Woke at 0430, managed to doze again but at 0530 I gave in and crawled out of bed.
Just had a coffee. I found some 'espresso' pods in the cupboard. Why does anyone bother with espresso.....there was perhaps a decent mouthful and that was it.
I will cogitate and decide what the day holds out for me..

Is that a bit like crossing someone's palm with silver to see what the future may hold?

I might also wander round to the Co-op for some bits and bobs too. I like the organic apples and they had lovely blueberries last time I was round so I'll grab another couple of packs. I'll browse and see if there's anything else I fancy. Might buy some more tubs of that soup as the weather is decidedly chilly now.

Well my plan last night was to get up early and go into town.well the purchase was going to be two belts,well good old ebay has solved that,and cheaper i bet.Well also this weekend we sorted out our new Wills two best pals witnessed signatures plus our kids.i have signed a document not to bring me back if i turn into a cabbage no pipes or gubbins just pull the plug.but i tell you what i feel fantastic pills potions infusions and again today injections all is well.

I am meeting our 'will writer' in 2 weeks. They did our will some years ago but so much has changed recently with my situation AND both of my children (seems odd calling 2 x 50 year old my children .
One is now divorced and remarried. Sue and I loved his previous wife but she was named in the will and sadly things change.
The daughter and family are buying my house so that's a massive change.
Yes, sadly, things do change.
