I’ve been to France many times and only ever bought a fromage et jambon baguette once,
It was at chalet Reynard and I was so knackered it was the best meal I have ever had. 😀

I've just had to repair one of the door trays this morning. MrsP had dropped something on the floor from the fridge, then stood up whilst the door was still open and snapped part of the tray off.
Now repaired with a combination of super glue and gorilla tape.
Seems to be holding at the moment.

We purchased our current fridge a couple of years after we married in 1971. The door trays are long gone and we have replaced the door seal several times. Must be due for another one because Mary complains that when it need defrosting ( a job usually performed by me ) it drips over the contents.
So we have just ordered a new frost free job.

Can you not do a long downhill ride?

You’ve still got to pedal or you pretty much slow right down. I suppose that’s why an hour feels enough as you are pedalling constantly.

Dry at the moment so I’ll try and get a walk in without getting wet, although there are showers forecast.

Morning all

Had too much to eat yesterday. I just can't do it these days.
Went to bed early but the wind was roaring and the rain was lashing against the windows, so it took ages to get off.
Things have calmed slightly this morning.
First thing to do this morning is to have a wander around the Dirk Towers estate to see if there was any damage overnight.
Having a stroll into Watchet later to pick up some shopping.

Good morning all from a windy Barnet.
MrsP and MissP are off to a spa day in Covent Garden, so it's just me and the dog today.
Just got the email from BT about my latest bill, and nothing has changed regarding my change of contract. 😡
So I'll be back on the phone to them ,for the fifth time.

When they discovered I was moving, they were on the phone trying to offer me a better price, but I informed him he was too late. If they can't get their software engineers to somehow programme customer's accounts to offer decent reductions for loyalty at the time of renewal they can get stuffed. I'm not wasting time phoning up foreign call centres and begging for reductions.

WoW.....can't recall that ever happening. I woke at 0430 and assumed that was it and I would have to get up. However, I got cozy,fell asleep and next thing it was 0930.....that's rediculous.
Then I realised ITS BIN DAY !!! Had a mad dash to put it out and realised there was only one other bin out. Just checked on the Web site and sure enough its been put back till tomorrow. I assume its christmas but with the 10 week strike nothing is clear.

Morning, nothing to report since last Monday night, so I didn't post
well you don't want to know how many pain killers I've taken. it doesn't matter
if I take them or not now the pain is still the same.
I've met my new neighbours Mr & Mrs Volodymyr Kaluhin, they can speak very little English
