i am both book and Kindle a cheap Firetablet.I like the way you can get a free book of a series then buy the rest.So today late breakfast Mrs P at foodbank.10-30 i will venture out and leave my coat for the zip repair.Tootle to Headingley and meet Mrs P for a chip butty .

I often get emails from Amazon with recommendations for authors, many of which are half decent and you can get a series of half a dozen books for 99p.

Book or kindle? I like both, a kindle is easier to hold, no breaking the spine, less weight and less awkward than a hard back certainly. Also get the free book of the month with Amazon reads, some of which have been very good. Downside is it will draw you into a series with a 99p first book then the rest will be 4.99 + Still cheaper than a real NEW book version though. The downsides are remembering to charge the thing and of course needing the internet access to retrieve a book if it isn't already downloaded, also you can't buy secondhand hand books or sell on / donate books you aren't going to read again. These are the big plus with physical books, plenty of freebies in the community libraries that are springing up in old phone boxes, and of course cheap volumes in charity shops and secondhand book shops. Also the smell and feel of physical books, be it new print or 50 year old text. The downside apart from being bulky and sometimes awkward to hold (especially in bed) is the physical space they take up. Just my thoughts

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I probably won't buy another kindle e reader not because I don't like then but because I have the kindle ap on my tablet and can use that. And its easier to read books on my tablet. I can make the writing bigger or smaller as I choose. And I don't have to pay an extra amount for a separate item. I could buy lots more books for the cost of a dedicated kindle e reader

Loads of different ideas about this. Some peeps are adamant that zone 2 burns more fat, others say some high intensity intervals are better and keep your metabolism raised for longer.

The older I get I find I am happier just plodding at a lower heart rate 80% of the time, and just the occasional day putting a bit more effort in. I seem to get exertion headaches after exercise if I do too much higher intensity stuff.

I bet you'll never see this Garmin screen Mo, just got back from a 45 minute run and this popped up 🤣🤣🤣

Having looked at the kitchen floor in the daylight this morning, it was time to wash the floor. It looked really grubby.
It probably, (definitely) doesn't get done enough. Only when it looks bad I do it.

Mine gets done most weeks as the cleaner does it as part of her routine.
She does 2 hours and blitzes everything including the walk in shower.
