Good morning all.
Heavy rain greets me as I awake. I've been up since 6.30.
A domestics kind of day today. The heavy rain is due to be here all day.
I might get the bus into town, I need some tomato seed, Moneymaker variety, and I might buy a new electric propagator to get the seeds going. I have a whole range of seed waiting to be sown, now is the time for some of them. Tom's, Cosmos, and variety of herbs can go in now.

Well......its just (seriously) been on BBC news that scientists have discovered that men who take viagra have less chance of getting alzeimers ......

Ok i have the details of this years holiday.San Francisco to Seattle then a seven day Alaskan cruise.All done with Titan Tours oh boy this is going to be superb.I have never done a cruise before.I have been on Roundhay Park Lake and Scarborough Bay.plus out of Whitby Harbour.But i think this might be a little bit different,i like the sound of resting for seven days.Don'y worry it won't turn my head,i will still talk to all of you.

Woke up at 6 something and decided to lie back down for a while
10 minutes later I got up an 9:30!!!
I was in a bit of a panic because at 6 something I had realised I had forgotten to put the blue bin out
and I thought I had heard a bin lorry - this happens a lot because there is a very bin-lorry-sounding noise often coming rouns at 6 something on blue bin day
no idea what it is but the bins don't get collected
anyway - got dressed and dashed down and put the bin out
temperature is WET - just WET - and miserable
anyway - off to the Foodbank later as I have been fixing a tablet thing for them and I need to talk to the manager to finish setting it up
she has promised to show me around the cemetary
which sounds weird but they are moving their "office" there soon - dunno why - the office never gets used since Covid when they realised it could all be done at home!
anyway - they want my input about security for the computer(s) and other stuff
then some people from a local Hospice are coming to collect some furniture for the charity shop this afternoon

We went on the Alaskan cruise for our honeymoon (about 7 years ago - or 6 - or 8 - whatever!)
it was brilliant - you will love it
We did it from Canada but doing it from the US side will probably be better as you won't have the first day of the cruise spent in a giant warehouse waiting to get "into America" - took 5 hours for passport and customs!
It was worth it in the end though!

Just back from a walk / jog with a friend. I was reluctant to go out as the weather looked dreadful. I'm glad I did as it was quite tame, a bit blowy and a bit of drizzle. Our route went past where the Waxwings were hanging out last week, non to see, but I did see a few Long Tailed Tits as we ran around Hatch Pond fishing lake.
Physio this afternoon a routine appointment, Mrs Tkk has her hips manipulated and I will have treatment on my knee.
