Thanks. I was hoping to keep it quiet. Amazing isn't it. Yesterday I was 67 and today I'm 68.

Well you don't look it.
Happy birthday Welshie.

Good morning folks, a trip to Wimborne to see the physio this afternoon then back home to pack for tomorrow's trip away. Mrs Tkk has an itemised packing list, I'm more of a minimalist and can pack in 20 minutes ( and I'm not the one who gets to our destination and realises they've forgotten something ) 😉
I often wonder if I should have had back surgery. I'm sure it is affecting my leg strength due to all the numbness and weakness left by a combination of lumbar disc herniations and sciatica. However, I spoke to a retired doctor who is also a keen runner and cyclist and said back surgery is best avoided unless absolutely essential.

A very wise runner who was also a Doctor of Medicine once told me that seeing a Physio for treatment and Monthly check ups was eminently sensible, Cortisone injections don't always work but can be effective and if you're having back problems " Whatever you do, never let them anywhere near you with a knife "

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
