Big 60 this year then? Seems like yesterday but I’ll be 65 in May. Time is flying by far too quickly!

Me too, that's the 60th year, not in Scotland though, nor likely to be, not that I've got anything against it, I think I'll quit now.Yep this is my 60th year and my 30th in Scotland![]()
I often wonder if I should have had back surgery. I'm sure it is affecting my leg strength due to all the numbness and weakness left by a combination of lumbar disc herniations and sciatica. However, I spoke to a retired doctor who is also a keen runner and cyclist and said back surgery is best avoided unless absolutely essential.
The good news is that 69 is most enjoyable, so I've heard.
