Morning again. It’s bright and sunny again and cool, but not quite as cold as the forecast said. Around 4 at the moment. This weather has been great but the farmers will be getting worried. The barley and wheat is looking very poor.

Is this because of the lack of rain?

Off to the dentist at 10.00. Nothing serious, just having my bottom teeth cleaned/whitened to match my new top gnashers.
Think I will be at the pub at lunchtime.

Bit overcast at the moment but due to brighten. No rain which is fine by me. Already had items on the news about lack of rainfall. No doubt give it another week and it'll be hosepipe bans etc.
Another coat of damp blocker on the ceiling is the plan for this morning then a mate calling over this afternoon and we're off for a pedal.

Car cleaning this morning; getting ready for a short break in the caravan next week. Haven't decided where to go exactly, but it will be fairly local.

Pleasant walk done just under 7 miles. Quite cool to start but you can feel the warmth arriving now.

Yep my Aldi does it. Things like various cheeses, fresh orange juice and sliced meats.....why ???

Back from the dentist 65 quid lighter. Got to go back next week for an xray as he thinks my back tooth will have to come out........just a bit more good news then.

When I lived in Bangor the Safeway did that (shows how long ago it was!)
and they had someone on the door handing out maps of the new layout to help people
and the maps were available by the entrance for a few weeks afterwards


Which seems like a great idea

BUT
I saw a programme on the telly about this sort of thing it turns out that when the re-organise a store the sales go up afterwards
and this is partly due to people wandering around looking for, e..g custard, and seeing other things they "want" and getting them as well
and possibly not getting custard and going back the next day - and inevitably getting more things as well

Marketing people are very clever
possibly amoral - but certainly clever
