We have a resident hedgehog who's garden we live at the end of. There's a gap in the fence behind our swingseat that it uses to pop next door.. It's not quite got used to Bonnie barking at it yet but just rolls into a ball until it goes quiet.

We found a programme on C5 last night called The Game, quite a good cast and a promising start. It's a psychological thriller type of programme. Worth another watch. Robson Green, Jason Watkins and Sunetra Sarka are the main characters.

Thanks, I was thinking of giving that a go. I will no doubt binge it one night.

It’s quite cool and overcast here at the moment but the sun will break through within the next couple of hours I think.

I’m going to wander along to Aldi later for a few bits and pieces. The Co-op is nearer for walking but the ongoing cyber attack has left them with almost bare shelves so no point in going there.

Right what's on today

Well - I was thinking a an early ride - but SWMBO has to be woken up so she gets used to it for The Wedding on Saturday
alarm clocks and the like just don;t work
TBH I think a the full host of the Corps of Drums and the ranks of the Royal Highlanders pipe brigade marching through wouldn;t work

basically it has to be me
(normally you could use young children - but the grandkids are totally useless at waking people up - except by crying in the night and even then it is mostly me that wakes up!!

anyway - Gluten Free bread prescription is due in today
well - when I say "due in" it was due in 4 weeks ago but the latest date we had was today so that has to be chased up

plus SWMBO has to go to the beauty place this afternoon with her toenalis fo "something" to be done to them (reason above)
not sure how much all this wedding stuff is costing us but I suspect a luxury jet from Saudi might be comparable??

so the bike will have to fit around all that

Barnet,
The shower head is now running as it should. It was pretty badly scaled up. Fortunately I had some descaler to hand in the cupboard.

Maybe she has to go with them in case consent for treatment is required. The nails not being old enough to consent to any treatment.

I see some of the staff in my medical practice are doing the Tough Mudder to raise funds to start a Park Run in the town and have a crowdfunding page for donations so I’ve stuck something in. A local park run would be good.

That would bi ideal for you Mo. Any idea what it will be called? The reason I ask is that there are a lot of " Alphabeteers " who visit various parkruns to collect all the letters of the Alphabet. We get quite a few parkrun tourists as our local parkrun is "Upton House " and I think that there are only three parkruns that begin with the letter " U ".
There are shed loads of unofficial challenges, and the excellent ( and free ) 5K app lists a lot of them. I like the Pirate Challenge, yoiu have to visit 7 " c's " and an "r ".
Some of the keener people have got all the letters of the alphabet several times and here comes the rub: There's no UK parkrun that begins with the letter X so some people substitute Exeter or Exmouth. Where a local parkrun to start up with the letter X as its initial letter then they would be guaranteed a steady stream of visitors from all over the country. Our friends travel almost every weekend, and last Saturday did a parkrun on the Isle of Skye ( they live in Wimborne so quite the journey )
