You lot are chatty today, three pages to catch up on the goings on😮. Mrs Tkk went to lunch with " The Portland Gang " a group who used to work on the same ward. She came home with some ideas about what to do with the area at the bottom of the garden where her shed was, I think it will be a bit spendy. I just had frittata with 2 rounds of toast as we use up the short dated stuff before we head to Scotland in the morning 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

SWMBO went out for lunch today

she was picked up when I was out on my bike - about 12:30

I picked the 2 of them up from the restaurant at 5:30
they had been gabbing for 5 hours or more
some Prosecco might have been involved!!!

I'll be good for her - she doesn;t get out much without me and with people she has known since she was little!




anyway - went to see the sister-in-law after and there was some talking about The Wedding
I had forgotten but a couple of weeks before she took some old jewellery to a jewellery fixing place on the High STreet

they checked each piece to see if they could clean it - or if it was worth cleaning

all the stuff her ex-husband had bought her was cheap crap - mostly copper when it was supposed to be silver

the stuff I had got her - all silver or gold!!!


Yup - aced that one!

Nothing much to report other than I had a half hour spin out on my bike today , that makes two days in row .
I know I am starting again from a very low level, but I might just get back into to this cycling lark lol.

Made it up. 5 miles so the same to go back now. At least it’s downhill pretty much all the way.

Good morning all
It's a sunny start to the day here.
The dog and cats have been fed and watered and the cats have run off down the garden to do cat things.
The trail cam in the garden shows we had the foxes as normal, but also the first sighting of the Badger that we knew was around due the damage to the fence.
There is the weekly meeting of the escape committee this afternoon at the Railway Bell 🚂 🔔 .
Before that though, fog walking, the exercise regime and I might get the carpet cleaner out, the front room carpet is pretty dirty.
