Inflation stuck at 3.4% which doesn't really tally with our own domestic figure which is much higher.

But, more importantly, chocolate prices are increasing at an even higher rate! How much is my favourite Aldi 85% cocoa chocolate going to cost now? It has already almost doubled in price in the last couple of years!

It’s our green bin day plus there’s a charity bag collection so I’m putting lots of clothes out after having a massive clear out.

Is it a charity bag, or one marked as a charity collection where what is put in them for collection is then sold on?

Not sure. I just wanted rid of stuff. I think it’s sold on to raise money.

I don’t know where they get their figures. I certainly don’t notice costs getting any easier. Leccy is going down slightly next month, just when we don’t use as much of course. No doubt it will go back up before winter!

Morning, I've got nothing to do now, I put the hover round, well actully it was a Vax and cleaned the kitchen
and cut up the veg for my lunch so now bored, maybe too hot to go for a walk as we have 27c in the sun right now, but we'll see.

Well over 65 years since I went to Whipsnade zoo. My lasting memory is of Kodiak bear** stood up and the sheer size of it.
*think it was a Kodiak. It was big and black.
Edit.
Google tells me it's brown but 2nd in size only to the Polar bear.

I remember seeing Clyde, the biggest Kodiak bear in captivity. Back in 1983 - I spent a summer on a travelling funfair, going through some western states. He was HUGE!

I have an appointment with a member of the Building Society at 2.30 regarding switching bank and going over to them. Apparently they will give me £200 if I do.
I have been with my present bank for probably 40 years now so maybe time to change and pocket £200 in the process.
